About Me
Hi! My name is Nicole and I am a Licensed School Counselor in New York State. I saw first hand the impact of having a Counselor work with my family and have close eyes outside of the large school environment. Navigating this process can be extremely daunting and feel hard to follow, even from 9th grade. I recognize the benefit of having someone there to support and guide others through this process with detailed and individualized attention.
My love for helping others started when I was a little girl. I always loved helping others figure out what courses to take, extra curricular to get involved in, or general advice to get a little extra help. I eventually obtained my MSEd at Hunter College for School Counseling. What started as a passion of helping others eventually turned into a career as a College and School Counselor.
No question or task is too small or too big. There is so much that goes into planning for your future. From reviewing the Common Application, to determining courses you should take, to organizing yourself, there are so many supports a counselor can provide from 9th Grade all the way to 12th Grade graduation.
My approach is engaging and tailored towards the needs of the student. Rather than having standard packages, an initial consultation can be scheduled to discuss your concerns. From there, families can decide what will be beneficial and the gaps they feel they need help in. As individuals are constantly evolving, so are their needs. Services can be added or changed as needed.
I have seen how an extra set of EIS can help others achieve their academic and personal goals. Let me help you be the EIS every student deserves so you too can achieve your dreams!
